Candy received her Juris Doctor degree from the Ateneo Law School in 2011, where she graduated with honors ranked 23rd in her batch. Graduating with honors both from elementary and high school at St. Stephen’s High School in Manila, Philippines, she went on to pursue her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, at the University of the Philippines-Manila, where she graduated Cum Laude in 2007.
She passed the 2011 Bar Examinations and became the first – and only – lawyer in the family a few months before turning 26. She joined the Firm (Paredes Law) on 16 May 2012, and climbed her way up, first as a Junior Associate, before being promoted as Senior Associate, and now, as Partner.

On the Lighter Side:
During her free time, Candy enjoys watching movies and reading novels. She also loves to spend time in the kitchen trying out new recipes or experimenting with recipes of her own; thus, it comes as no surprise that her no. 1 shopping place is the grocery. Displaying her generous nature, she has been known to occasionally bring food she personally prepared to the Firm or giving them away to her friends and neighbors.
