Charmane received her Juris Doctor degree from the Ateneo de Manila Law School in 2004. She was a member of the Ateneo Human Rights Center and served as External Vice-President and Senior Batch Representative of the Ateneo Law Student Council in 2003 and 2004 respectively. As a Dean’s Lister, she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Commerce degree (major in Business Management) at De La Salle University in 2000.

Admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2005, she soon worked as Associate Lawyer at Lazaro Law Firm and continued managing her family’s leasing and lending businesses before she joined the Firm as Junior Associate in 2011. She then rose from the ranks as Senior Associate in 2012 then Partner in 2018.

On the Lighter Side:

Charmane is a devoted mother who enjoys spending time at home with her children as well as travelling, reading, and watching movies. As a Breast Cancer Survivor, she remains strong and enjoys coloring, acrylic painting and shooting some ammos during her spare time.
